KUALA LUMPUR: According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, about 20% of U.S. small businesses fail within the first year. By the end of their fifth year, roughly 50% have faltered.
On 15th March 2020, Gathercare is on its way to join the ranks of the upper 50% of businesses that didn’t fail within 5 years. And we celebrated that modestly.
Around 30 people comprising of Gathercare staffs, VIPs, agents, and Sharers converged at 10Binjai Restaurant, Perdana KLCC to witness the turning of the milestone. And also, we had lunch.
What started as Life Engineering 5 years ago, from 0 Sharer, Gathercare has now amassed the trust of more than 5000 people who are willing to contribute towards the community in reducing the impact of rising medical costs. In total, RM631,939.79 have been pooled and shared to repay for 129 medical cases.
On the day of the event, Gathercare’s founder, Mr. Gideon uttered a meaningful speech thanking all parties for their unwavering support towards this program since its infancy. There were also 6 Sharers who were brave enough to sign up on day-1 and stayed put for 5 years. Their trust and loyalty were duly recompensed with unlimited protection plan.
Our day was being showered with optimisms from all the compliments and well-wishes from the VIPs and guests who expressed their believe in Gathercare to one day become a huge success as a pioneer in championing the Medical-Cost Crowd Sharing concept.
Lastly, all attendees were honoured with complimentary goodie bags for their time spent celebrating with us.
Spread the word about Gathercare and together we can help even more people and lower the burden for everybody!
